Amazon.com Product Description This U.S. Divers' Mercury wetsuit--made of the highest-quality materials available--offers a superior combination of fit, performance, and style. The "shorty" suit is distinguished by its short-sleeve arms and legs and its titanium-blend 3 mm chest panels, which reflect heat back to the body to keep divers and surfers warm in cool currents. The suit also features 2 mm side panels and super-stretch panels under the arms, both of which give the wearer added flexibility whether twisting to the side or reaching upward. And thanks to the neoskin seals on the neck, legs, and wrists, the suit seals out water with aplomb. Other details include flat-lock stitching for extra comfort, a heavy-duty corrosion-free #10 YKK zipper on the back, and a pull chord with a double-tap hook and loop tie down to keep the suit fully sealed. Available in a variety of sizes (see table), the Mercury shorty suit is backed by a two-year limited warranty. | Adult Sizes | Small | Medium | Med/Large | Large | X-Large | XX-Large | | Weight | 140-155 | 150-165 | 160- 180 | 175-195 | 190-220 | 210-230 | | Height | 5'6-5'8 | 5'8-5'10 | 5'9-6' | 5'11-6'1 | 6'-6'3 | 6'1- 6'4 | | Chest | 35-36.5 | 36.5-38 | 38.5-40 | 40.5-42.5 | 42.5-44 | 43.5-46 | | Waist | 30-31 | 31-33 | 33-35 | 35-37 | 36-39 | 38-42 |

Inexpensive but good value, warm, flexible, comfortable August 23, 2010 L. Leabres I was pleasantly surprised how well this wetsuit performed. I use it for the rivers and lakes in Switzerland which stay on the cool side from the melting snow. It's warm and allows free and easy movement.
I would buy this wetsuit and this brand again if I needed another wetsuit.
I ordered the med/large side and it fit right in line and in accordance with the fittting charts. Caution: if you're not the Vshaped athlete and have a small tummy like me, the wetsuit will not hide it (or maybe a little) so that's my only "CON" but it's not wetsuit's fault.
Good Value May 2, 2010 Nathaniel Feldner (Madison, WI USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This wetsuit probably won't hold up forever, but is great for the casual diver and is a great value for the money.
good value January 30, 2010 A. Kent (Florence, SC United States) great price, good quality, it is not super flexible, but you may not need that in a shorty. My brother says when you mention super flexible wet suits, he just buys a bigger size of the less expensive ones. I guess all the time falling off his boards into the rocks really did affect him.
Very comfortable and very effective January 11, 2010 Richard W. Spengler 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
We bought two of these wetsuits for a snorkling trip to Florida. The wetsuit is excellent and a very good price. We used the wetsuits while snorkeling in water that was in the high 70s. It allowed us to stay in the water as long as we wanted without getting cold. We took a chartered snorkeling trip in which we went to two different snorkeling spots to snorkel for one hour at each spot. All of the people on the trip went in the water at the first spot but only 40% of the people went out at the second spot. Water temperature was likely one reason that caused people to stay on the boat because during the time that we were snorkeling I noticed that a woman that was snorkeling next to me had goose bumps all over her body. I was perfectly warm and compeltely enjoyed the trip. In addition to snorkeling we also used the wetsuits while we were kayaking which kept us very warm and comfortable.
Shorty wet suit September 25, 2009 Thomas Lennig (Orange County, CA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is the best well made suit I have owned, and you can't beat the price as compared to other manufactures. The color also takes away from the all black "California Seal" look when in the water.
