Great for sun protection & water sports July 8, 2010

Prior to a trip to Mexico, I purchased the NeoSport full body skins. It was one of the best items I packed because the sun rays in Mexico are very strong & unrelenting. I did not want my vacation to be spoiled by a blistering sunburn. The "skins" allowed me to snorkel, kayak, sail, windsurf, swim the in sea without having to reapply sunscreen (except on my face of course, that's what hats are for.) The UV protection really worked. I especially liked it for snorkeling because the long length protected my skin from scratches from rocks and coral that I inadvertently didn't see! I am 5'8" tall, around 137 lbs. & I was a little worried about the length of these skins but they were fine. Because they stretch they probably could accommodate someone taller than me. If you are much heavier, I might say to order the size up because indeed they are skin tight. I am sure that the darkly tanned French women in their string bikinis (no matter their age or shape!), thought I was a sight to behold but my skin was protected!
 Loses 1 Star For Incomplete UV protection June 22, 2010

I own several of these skins. I'm a 5'4" female and weigh 130. I bought a small. My only complaint is I noticed on the colored area of the sleeves, the UV protection is not as good as the black area and I now have a funny half tan arm. I will purchase the all black in the future and hope that it will protect fully. It took me 50 1 mile swims before it felt too stretched out to wear any longer.
Not as uncomfortable as I thought June 13, 2010

I am 5'10" and 140 lbs, and purchased the L size wetsuit. It is a good fit and is not as uncomfortable as I thought it would be. The crotch was riding a bit low, but with some stretching and moving the material around, you can get a good fit. It served it's purpose in Cabo for snorkeling. It might keep you a few degrees warmer in the water, but take it off when you get out - having the wet material on your skin gives you quite a chill even on the hottest day.

I am very pleased with my sport skin. I use it a lot when I get on my kickbike [...] early in the morning and want to guard against the chill of San Diego air. It allows for freedom of movement in a really neat way. Looks great too!

Husband can't be exposed to sun because of his medicine -so with this uv protection skin suit and a hat he was able to enjoy our trip in Hawaii - worked out very well!
